I don't think we normally report the Tennis Europe Junior Tour events (for under 12s, under 14s and under 16s) but as this one's in Edgbaston, it seemed a good idea:

Boys:

SF: Jake Hersey (GBR) (1) def. Zhao Lingxi (CHI) 7-5 6-0

SF: Tom Leblanc Claverie (FRA) def. Jack Draper (GBR) (WC) 2-6 7-6(1) 6-2

 

Final : Jake Hersey (GBR) (1)  v Tom Leblanc Claverie (FRA)

 

Girls:

SF: Clara Froget (FRA) def. Daryna Kovalenko (UKR) 1-6 6-3 7-5

SF: Eliz Maloney (GBR) (5) def. Maria Budin (GBR) (2) 6-4 6-2

 

Final : Clara Froget (FRA)  v  Eliz Maloney (GBR) (5)

In the two anglo-franco finals, it ended up being honours even:

Final : Jake Hersey (GBR) (1) def. Tom Leblanc Claverie (FRA) 6-3 6-2

Final : Clara Froget (FRA) def. Eliz Maloney (GBR) (5) 3-6 7-6(4) 6-3

Vaguely amusing (allowing that it wouldn't be pronounced this way in French) that a young French tennis player should be named Ms Frog-et .... Anyway, congratulations to her, and to all the finalists.
