I just merged the report of the A1 win against Sutton into this thread but it's not now appearing when I look at it - probably one of those time the final page fails to show until it has a few posts on it, I'd guess.
Edit: just one extra post was needed, as it turned out
Congrats, btw - and to Marcus, Lewis and Jonny on new ATP doubles career highs today

The win over National mens Aegon champions sutton is Highly significant because prize money is greater than most challengers - total prize money is £160,000$
A1 can win up to £10,000 ( 16,000 $ ) which will go back into player funding .
Both Sutton & A1 teams are sponsored and all the players in both teams are current or former pro tennis players .
A1 Pharmaceuticals are the only unbeaten team in toughest of 4 national tier groups - SE
1. A1 Pharmaceuticals TA
2. Raynes park
3.Sutton
4.Bromley
Top team goes straight to the finals and 2,3 & 4th placed teams in SE group go to play offs for chance to reach the last 8 in the national finals 10-13/7 West hants club , Bournemouth

Esporta Surrey failed to field a team and so A1 got a W/O and won national regional group south east and their automatic place in the national finals ( 8 teams ) . It was a1 6th B to B Aegon title and have reach the finals at their first attempt
I can emphasise with capt of esporta Austen chamberlain as I only have 33% of my orginal nominations for the finals and competing yesterday with world cup , rally for Bally & fathers day in his bid to get a team out .
The finals comprise 4 regional group winners & 4 play off winners
Previous winners and RU , 3rd & 4th in group SE
Sutton, raynes park & bromley are all favourites to win their play offs against RU of the other 3 regional groups and reach finals at west hants club 11-13/7/2014

I suppose that means the team managers/captains will be hoping their players don't go deep at the Ilkley 15K grass court Futures (while the players will be hoping they do!)
