RE: Week 33 - ATP Masters 1000 - Cincinnati, OH, USA (Hard)

Andy is third match on Grandstand Court; presumably that will be evening here in the UK.

I didn't see any of the match, but the 6-2 6-2 scoreline suggests a fairly routine win for Andy against Benneteau.

Andy strolls through v Benneteau, 6-2 6-2 in just over an hour. Benny made a lot of UEs. Odd how so many of Andy's opponents make a lot of mistakes, isn't it?

And while Muzza battles against Berdych - currently *3-4 in the 1st set - the big man, John Isner, takes out Djokovic !!

That will make the locals very happy.

Total collapse at the end of that set, errors galore.

After a reasonable start to this match Andy is now playing awful.

Andy has been playing badly ever since I got in from hospital visiting. Maybe I should go back there.

Disappointed to see Murray devolve from a promising start.

Needs to find his return game quick or he could well be going to the US Open as the number 3 seed.

Meh. He'll have to play better than that at the USO.

I'm not completely convinced by the idea of concentrating just on the slams.

The worse part was that Berdych didn't even play that well.

Feels a bit of a comedown from 7/7.

Loses, but I find I am 'not bovvered', and I doubt Andy is greatly too. He's had some match practice whilst not taxing his body too much. (The turning point was him getting all uptight about the bad call which Hawkeye showed, but the point was replayed rather than given to Andy. It did seem a bit unfair but going on about it was just a waste of energy and a mental distraction. )

Well lets try and look at the positives. Ever since 2008 Andy has won one tournament during the US Summer ever year. If he keeps that run going we will all be happy.

Definetly think Berdych played very well, but andy was very poor second set, alot of errors were going half way down the net, his only chance of getting back into the match was if Berdych crumbled
