Katie Boulter seems to have given a good account against Krejcikova - JWR5 and WTA WR463

Career best wins for both Gabi and Lana. Not much joy in doubles, with only Katy and Emily/Jasmine surviving round 1

R3

(3) Taylor Townsend (USA) v (WC) Lana Rush
Jelena Ostapenko (LAT) v (WC) Gabriella Taylor
(5) Katy Dunne v Harriet Dart

If Harriet can overcome the second seed, who was pushed by Katie, then she will be in line for a Special Exempt into Wimbledon, freeing up a wildcard. British interest in the doubles ended today.

Jelena Ostapenko (LAT) d. (WC) Gabriella Taylor 6-2 6-3
Harriet Dart d. (5) Katy Dunne 5-7 6-4 6-1

QF

Harriet Dart v (2) Barbora Krejcikova (CZE)

She did it too! A 4&4 winner. Surely her best juniors tournament performance and still going.

Harriet's best tournament and junior scalp, and plays someone who wins a high percentage of matches, but has only started playing the high grade events this year, reaching a G1 final recently. Two very familiar players in the other semi.

QF

Harriet Dart d. (2) Barbora Krejcikova (CZE) 6-4 6-4

SF

(1) Belinda Bencic (SUI) v (3) Taylor Townsend (USA)
Iryna Shymanovic (BLR) v Harriet Dart

Harriet lost 0 and 3.... tough match and she was back in it at 3-1 up in the second... looked a little tired from the week and wasn't at her best but a lot of positives to be taken.

Thanks for the insight into Harriet's match. Belinda had a titanic tussle with Taylor at Roland Garros, but the rerun was more straightforward, with the Swiss miss taking it 7-5 6-2 to record her 28th consecutive junior win this season

Just checked the entry list for Junior Wimbledon and, unless I'm being blind, I don't see Bencic's name on it. Did she forget to enter and thus hopeful of a Wildcard or is she not playing? If not then it's a little strange playing the warm up event. She was down to play the 50K in Germany next week, but has withdrawn so perhaps she will be gracing SW19 with her presence.

I watched Bencic play Izzy Wallace in Italy a few months back (via a live stream) and wasn't overly impressed. She was very solid in every aspect, could play all the shots, but did not play at much of higher standard than Izzy. She did, however, show a great deal of mental toughness. Perhaps this match was not representative of Belinda as she has certainly racked up a lot of wins this year against some tough opponents.
