Cachin is ranked 10 in the world so a great win for Josh!

A disappointing day with only Alex surviving. In doubles Cameron/Luke won along with Evan, but other (part) Brit pairings lost.

It feels very much as if the draws for this tournament and this year's junior GSs are likely to provide the people about whom we'll be reading regularly in five or ten years time. Tomorrow's line-up looks outstanding, and there are numerous players who have already lost who may well be good prospects for the future, too. Good luck to Mr Hoyt.

A decent scoreline for Alex considering the opposition. Just Evan left in doubles (with Wayne Montgomery)

R3

(6) Borna Coric (CRO) d. (WC) Alexander Sendegeya 7-6(4) 6-3

Just to note that according to both the draw and (more reliably) the OOP, Bambridge and Norrie are also in the QFs of the doubles, where they play Karen KHACHANOV (RUS) /
Daniil MEDVEDEV (RUS). Hoyt and Montgomery play Pedro CACHIN (ARG) / Guillermo NUNEZ (CHI) [3].

The LTA have corrected their drawsheet to be in line with the ITF, so unfortunately Evan was the only one to make the quarters, and he (+ Wayne) lost today
