Robmond won the first set, but are 1-5 down in the second.
Generally happens if a team win the first set and go behind early in the second that they end up settling for a match tie break and don't put up much resistance in the 2nd set
Nope. Looks like perhaps a better performance, than since their first tournament together. Though, I'm not sure that losing from a set up in doubles as well is going to help Laura right now.
6-4 4-6 [5-10]
I'll be pretty surprised if Robmond exist beyond Wimbledon - unless of course, they win it (or get close)

Data I post, opinions I offer, 'facts' I assert, are almost certainly all stupidly wrong.
Hopefully a competitive score against the top seeds is indicative that Laura is in better form than last week - we will certainly find out tomorrow (not that with Laura you would be able to use this week's performance as a gauge for Wimbledon)
Beyond Wimbledon I also expect Lisa will want a partner with more of a doubles focus.

Laura played heaps better than last week, Lisa struggled in the MTB. Worried about Laura though, she looked very very glum today by far the worst I've seen her. Fingers crossed she does the job tomorrow.
Watched Heather live today down at surprisingly sunny Eastbourne. After a bad 1st game heather grew in confidence and started playing well. Lepchenko got very down on herself and complained about calls (one was a bit dodgy to be fair). Saw the 1st set or so of Robmond playing - much more life and energy in Laura's play than has been reported. It was moved to court 2 so everyone was crowded round... Also saw Kyles win - majorly impressed by his maturity, composure, shot selection and ability.

Or a partner with more focus period.
I find this rather harsh, as Lisa and Laura have had frankly terrible first round draws since Miami. Also the initial success in Miami was on hard courts, which I think is Laura's best surface. Laura will also need time to adjust to this level of doubles, which I would hope and believe that Lisa knew before agreeing to the partnership. there is also an article I read by Lisa in which she states she was not expecting any great initial success's . So let's just wait and see how they do get on at Wimbledon.
Service motion certainly looks better than it had done. As Sam Smith was mentioning, she seems to rock back then come forward now; previously it had looked very cramped. Robson ahead 27-13 on unreturned serves. Fewer dfs than normal but her 2nd serve still looks horribly vulnerable as YB missed the lines by inches on several of the points Laura won behind her 2nd serve. Return of serve was awful to start with then improved as the match progressed. The few rallies seemed to be dominated by YB pulling Robson from side to side then hitting a winner into the space, that or attempting a drop shot. Still a few too many careless shots from Laura.

Laura has the game to hit Wozniacki off court, particularly on grass. Laura's service record today:- 8 aces, 3 DFs. 64% 1st serves in winning 88% and 47% on 2nd serve. She was also very aggressive on her opponents 2nd serve. She looked very focussed today, if she carries the same state of mind into the match against Wozniacki she could reverse the result of their last meeting.
