I should have just looked on here rather than waiting for the WTA site to stop crashing. LOL

I would count the ret. by Cirstea because Hev was a set up, but definitely her =2nd best ranking scalp and 4th win against a top 30 player

L16: Heather Watson WR 57 v Elena Vesnina (RUS) WR 36 (CH 22 in 2009)

H2H 1-1, Elena won on clay in 2010 and Hev, also on clay, at RG last year.

Vesnina just beat Ana Ivanovic 12 so she is clearly on form - it might be a tougher match for Heather than against Lepchenko.

 That is the sort of first round match Laura will have been hoping for, and one she should win. Beygelzimer took out Genie Bouchard in qualies so Laura avoids a match up she has struggled with.

Good win for Hev but Lepchenko is over-ranked so i did think hev could win this one.

I would expect Laura to win that one but who knows with her these days.

I'd say Bally has a good shot but it's a toughie.

My pick for a shot win is Johanna. never rated Hsieh that much ( watch her loose 1 and 1 now LOL)
