Is there a stream anywhere for Emily's match?

Not that I know of. Sadly her match isn't on either of the 2 courts that are being streamed (that I can access via Bet365).

And she does it well done Em. Here's hoping she can beat Bally next round to boost her Wimbledon Wild card chances.

And if Sam can win her next match that would mean a guaranteed semi finalist too.

YES!

What a fight. Saved so many break points throughout the match including in that final game. So happy for her.

Really interesting match against Bally next.

Well done to Emily.

Hope she can yet get into Wimbledon Q. She loves grass and I'd say would have significantly more chance there than say Amanda Carreras ( who I think has got her Q WC based on being ranked top 350 ).

One of EWS' best results in a while, well done.
Especially having lost the middle set - and I'm sure plenty were ready to doom monger at that point - but she came back strongly.
A shame that some of our few representatives in R2 will be knocking each other out so early in the event, but some one will get a nice minimum of 18 points.

Despite the toughest possible draw, hindsight reflects a good decision by Bally to stay in Nottingham rather than try her luck in Edgbaston.

Naomi finished her doubles, and scored one for the Fed Cup team.
Our two remaining pairs now face the top 2 seeds, who both had R1 byes.

R1: Naomi BROADY/Malou EJDESGAARD (GBR/DEN) defeated Paula ORMAECHEA/Yurika SEMA (ARG/JPN) 7-5 6-4

QF: Naomi BROADY/Malou EJDESGAARD (GBR/DEN) vs. Julie COIN/Stephanie FORETZ GACON (FRA/FRA) [1]
QF: Samantha MURRAY/Jade WINDLEY (GBR/GBR) vs. Julia GLUSHKO/Erika SEMA (ISR/JPN) [2]

Bally serving superbly. Emily not playing badly, just outclassed. I'd forgotten how big her first serve is.

Some old skool grass rallies, fun match.
