RE: Girls: French Open - Grade A (Week 23)

I only know of Pippa Horn- but she still has another year left until she goes and hasn't committed to anywhere yet. Think Brigit Folland is going this year. Jess Ren was considering but she is almost definitely ineligible- now considering UK university.

Konjuh got through her QF but was thrashed 6-0 6-1 today by the German, Lottner, who will meet Belinda Bencic in the final.

I think the number of 3 set matches Ana had one after another, plus the fact she decided to play a $25k in the week before RG juniors started (getting to the final and losing in 3 sets to Martic) is bound to have caught up with her. She's just 15 and a half, playing a much older girl......and shows that she's human too!

Bencic only turned 16 in February!!!

After a number of extremely tight quarter-finals (Konjuh and Lottner saving matchpoints while Bencic scraped past Taylor Townsend 9-7 in the third) the final proved relatively straightforward, with Belinda Bencic registering her 23rd consecutive win 6-1 6-3. Hence Kyle will be on shortly

Katy drops to JWR11 but is still in line for a seeding at Wimbledon, especially as four of the top girls have not entered or withdrawn, including Belinda Bencic. Cameron drops to 18 so is unlikely to be seeded. All the top 39 boys have entered, though further down Jonny O'Mara is a non-entrant
