Must say I too have had the impression for some time that this is a markedly better group of juniors than most since maybe even back to the Murray / Djokovic times ( aplogies for not having a big statistical breakdown to back up that impression LOL ). Will be really interesting to see how they push foward over the next few years.
The last British junior to reach a final here was Heather Watson in 2009 (with Timea Babos). The last British winners here were Buster Mottram in 1972 and Michele Tyler in 1976, but we have never won a junior doubles title, and we haven't had a boy in the doubles final AFAICS since at least 1989 (first drawsheet available on the ITF site). Given that the boys doubles was only introduced in 1981 Kyle may well be our first boys doubles finalist.

(3) Edmund/Silva (GBR/POR) v (5) Garin/Jarry (CHI)
3rd after 10:00 UK tomorrow, on Court 2. They may need to allow Garrin extra time for rest though if the Girls final is particularly one sided, as the Court 2 schedule is Boys Singles, Girls Singles, Boys Doubles.

Data I post, opinions I offer, 'facts' I assert, are almost certainly all stupidly wrong.
Garin incidentally was the only junior until last week (when Kyrgios beat Stepanek) to win a main tour match. Although Kyle did beat Gimeno-Traver in Wimbledon qualies last year when GT was WR101 (now top 50 and recently beat Gasquet!).
Girls final is finished so the Doubles final will start soon. Not sure how much rest Garin has had or is allowed.
