If there were no other lead up tournaments to RG I could understand him playing Barca but there is Madrid and Rome so no need from my point of view. More practice is probably all he needs.
I just didn't really get Andy declaring that he was so unprepared for clay, having spent such time trying to prepare for it and looking pretty decent in his first match.
I got the impression that it was less about being unprepared for clay ( though no doubt some element ) and much more to do with, as he occasionaly does, playing ****
Albert Montañés, Gerard Granollers, Pablo Carreño and Roberto Carballés have received a wild card to play the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell. Tournament organizers gave their wild cards to the first three players while IMG awarded it to Carballés. Six more players will qualify for the main draw tomorrow and on Sunday.
