Slightly closer than last week, and the first to take a set off Soylu (who did the double) this week, but no title unfortunately. She has effectively secured her entry into the next 3 slams though

F: (1) Ipek Soylu (TUR) d. (13) Katie Boulter (GBR) 6-2 4-6 6-3

Doubles SF

Bains/ Tjandramulia (AUS) d. Boulter/Wallace (GBR) 6-1 6-2

Clearly Ipek and Katie have been the class of the fields overvthe last 2 weeks. 

Mr O'Mara will be partly happy as he wished Luke and Ms Soylu the best of luck before their respective finals. He may have forgotten that she was playing Katie......just sensing that Ms Soylu probably not too unpopular amongst the boys competitors!!!!

Shame she couldn't get revenger but 2 great weeks for Katie.

Hope to see her mix in a few 10ks now

Katie's efforts are rewarded with a career high of 40. She is down for a couple of junior events in Spain next month, though she has also entered the clashing Edgbaston 25K
