Eight Brits in the main draw this week, helped by a couple of wildcards. Thomas Colautti had a good tournament last week, but finds himself in a strong section this time
A very good win for Rhett over Gooch junior (assuming the ITF scores are correct this week), who defeated Jonny last week, whilst Tom comfortably negotiated his first test to have a go at one of the many Aussie juniors doing well at present.

Frustration for Alex in a final set tiebreak and disappointment for Luke - though his opponent is also ranked inside the ATP top 1000. Both remaining Brits face tough 3rd round matches, Evan against the top seed and Jonny against the player who beat Luke last week

It would be excellent for at least one of our more senior boys to have a good tournament during this Asian trip. With one tournament to go there is still hope, but they are not really shining this far. Luke seems to have hit the proverbial "wall" so far ths year.
Great to see Katie Boulter having some impressive wins on the girls side in early rounds which opens up the draw for her......if you can beat the #1 seed, why not go on and do serious damage, and embarass the boys
