A setback for Andy today will be that his cheering squad will not be in the stadium, so we will miss the class song of a drop shot here and a drop shot there ...............and so on.

It was the potential protracted lack of sleep that I was 'oh no...ing' about.  Entirely self concern I'm afraid !

I also had a momentary panic on seeing that post.

And the semi will be live on BBC2 so finally I will get to see some action. Friday at 8.15am in the UK, and 9.15am for those of us who prefer the sunshine to the snow biggrinbiggrin

Really sorry to see Ms Williams go out that way -- going out is one thing, going out with an injury is another. Ms Stephens seems to be a lovely young woman and a fine player, though. (But I am with Mr Harman on the on-court interviews. Too much to ask of most players, win or lose)

Well, Andy got his evening match... 4pm start.

Not sure I'll make it to the end of this...

Darn it I wrote this post once and must have forgotten to click on submit!

Andy won 6-4 6-1 6-2. I only saw the second half of the match, but his level has definitely gone up from the earlier rounds. I think it will have to go even higher in the semi, though.

Given how badly Federer is playing tonight that might not be true.

Tsonga should have won this in straight sets instead of being 2-1 down.

Gutted Fed's just won ( not least cos I don't like him). Thought Andy had a better chance against Tsonga.

I've just seen that the Beeb will show the semi on BBC2, 8.15am. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/tennis/16660418

At last, one I can watch on tv or record it if I have to go out!
