Meh. Andy will have to do without me again, I really can't cope with that sort of timing any more. I won't be devastated if he doesn't win - he needs to avoid injury just before the AO, while Dimitrov, who has never won a single title, may well be prepared to go to the limits as his chances of winning the AO are pretty small.
I understand your point but I really would like to see Andy win a few more titles this year. Obviously last year was a great success but overall he only won 3 tournaments and I would like to see him win a fair few more than that this year. I would of course take a couple of Grand Slams and nothing else but I am sure you get my point.
I think Andy is a number 4 based on his losing to weaker players, something the other top 3 do much less. Winning this would send a little message that 2013 he is going to be right up with them.
Sounds like a hard fought win against a rapidly improving opponent. It also sounds as though Andy's mind may have not been fully focused given his reference in the post match interview so good to battle through and win.
As for Andy's friend, I don't know who you are, but like Andy, I wish you well.
