Yed, Ferrer actually plays too much really for such a highly ranked player. I noticed that he played the week before the Aussie Open too.
Yes, maybe he recognises that he is a level below the "big 4", but you would think he would at least try and give himself more chance of improving his pretty poor Grand Slam record.
While the article does contain some sensible points much of it is speculation. The writer does not have a detailed understanding of Murray's medical condition and talk of the "Nadal option" seems to be based on very, very little.
I found the quote from Djokovic amusing. Though it may well be true of him now, it certainly wasn't in his earlier career when he was a laughing stock for his many retirements.
It's always difficult to tell without knowing the full facts, but this certainly seems like a sensible decision.
It will be the first RG since 1994 with no Brit in the men's main draw (Jeremy Bates played in 1995, Tim 1996-2007 with or without Greg/Andy, Andy ever since) but of course for much of that period, we didn't have any British women in the main draw, now we have at least three to take up the slack.

Me too. I just hope he can get properly fit for the grass season - though 2 weeks isn't very long when you are talking about back problems.
I watched him play at Boodles last year and being so close to the court could hear all the mutterings ... at one point he shouted to himself "a week isn't long enough for a back". As we know he had a steroid injection to help him through last summer; wonder if he'll try another? And I'll not see him at Boodles this year 'cos he's signed up for the event at The Hurlingham Club where tickets start at £295 and rise to £495 ... not very fan friendly!
Nice work. Thanks for providing the schedule. Murray is a great tennis player. There is final between Murray and Djokovic this sunday for Wimbledon championship. Hope he will do his best to win it. Good luck to him.
