Doubles SF

(5) Dunne/Makarova (GBR/USA) v (3) Haas/Siniakova (AUT/CZE)

Their opponents have been in fine form in singles, both reaching the semis, with the Austrian knocking out top seed Taylor Townsend. The semi takes place soon, once the opponents have recovered from their singles.

Garin went on to thrash the 4th seed 1 & 2

at least Luke lost to the eventual winner in the U18 boys. In the U18 girls, the winner was 14 year old Anna Konjuh! Apparently the Croatians think she's a much bigger talent than 16 year old Donna Vekic (senior rank 108 already!) Scary stuff. jazzi has some top girls to contend with for sure.

To be fair she's very nearly 15, but yes a name to watch for sure. Just shows though what an achievement it was for Laura to win junior Wimby 7 months short of her 15th birthday. For now though I wouldn't point her any higher than say Barty or Vekic in the pecking order.
