Loose game from Amanda: Routine FH groundstroke long *0-15, 1-2 punch attempted but wide with the 2 part *0-30, Brings Pereira to net (good tactic, she's missed everything there I've seen) who fluffs *15-30, FH wide again same manner, from mid court to 6 inches past the side line, *15-40 and then broken

Three close calls all went against her Amanda in the last two games, one here brings 15-30*, and then it's 2 MP's against at 15-40*. Good serve from the Brasilian, Amanda does well to get it, but 3 shots later it's all over as Amanda nets.

Couldn't quite push on that recovery at the start of the second set.

Still, so nice to get to watch Amanda - the first such opportunity for me. She seems to have a generally pretty solid game and decent ground strokes and movement, though the serve is problematical.

Slight let down today against a competent opponent, but overall, a great week for Amanda.
