SF: Amanda Carreras WR 384 beat Raluca Olaru (ROU) WR 259 (CH 53 in 2009) by 3 & 3 biggrin

FINAL: Amanda Carreras WR 384 v (3) Teliana Pereira (BRA) WR 175 (= CH)

Like Amanda, 24-year-old Pereira is in the best form of her life - she won the 25K in Sevilla last month so is on a 9-match winning streak.

Amanda holds to 30. 1-2*

Initial impression - Pereira has a little bit more in terms of power and accuracy, though the latter may be due to nerves early in Amanda's first 25K Final.

I thought Azarenka/Sharapova were annoying with their ball striking noises, but Pereira's contrived "eehh-ya" is even worse!
