Good day for Andy as he extends his already existing slight lead over Novak in my rather unofficial "Race from US Open to US Open"  ( now 2870 to 2710 and counting  smile )

If he could have really good weeks here and next week then he could go into next year in quite a good position to fight for no 1 spot later in 2013.

Maybe Andy can treat these 2 weeks as a grand slam, instead of 7 best of 5 set matches, 9 best of 3 set matches.

I love to watch most of the French players. And I don't think Andy looks like he's going to get quite such an easy ride tonight.
End of season you see quite a few unexpected results. Not tonight please .

Well, PHM's equalled that in the first set of this match, but has just been broken to love in the eleventh game, so Andy will serve for it at *6-5. wink
