Missed it all. Ah well, I have done a few chores (like making lunch, putting away all the shopping from last night's late-night expedition to the 24hr Tesco, changing the bedding - all those annoying things that interfere with my enjoymehnt!) so now I can settle down and watch the match with fingernails out of any danger.

SF: (2) Novak Djokovic (SRB) WR 2  beat  (4) Tomas Berdych (CZE) WR 7   6 - 3   6 - 4

SF: (1) Roger Federer (SUI) WR 1  vs  (3) Andy Murray WR 3  -  on not before 8 pm local  ( 1 pm BST )

Andy can't now mathematically overtake Novak this year in the rankings.

I do believe Roger is the first player Andy's got to double figures in ATP victories against, with the top 5 being I think :

1.  Roger Federer  10 - 8

2.  Gilles Simon  9 - 1

3.  Fernando Verdasco  8 - 1

     Andy Roddick          8 - 3

     Stanislas Wawrinka  8 - 4

Novak could join the 8s tomorrow  smile    ( currently  7 - 8 )
