SF :  (1) Andy Murray WR 3  vs  (6) Milos Raonic WR 15

Hopefully Andy can once again play well and expose Milos's limitations.

I was very good and kept away from forums until I had watched the match. Well done Andy, Wawa has always given him a problem or two so no surprise he managed to take a set, but the other two sets were quite decisive.

Nice win eventually, seems like he is in good shape. He's on at 12pm local time tomorrow. Which is 4am UK time.

Quite impressive after losing his focus in the second, Raonic on these ultra fast courts will be an interesting test in the semis.

Home favourite Nishikori beat Berdych   7 - 5   6 - 4.   The other SF is Baghdatis vs (8) Nishikori.

Oh wasn't expecting that, I thought Andy woiuld have Milos's number again cry

Good to hear it was a high quality match and looks like he's played OK this week for first week back after the US Open. Hopefully has got him ready for big points in Shanghai.

Nishikori in the final though ( albeit it looks as if he has been playing very well on home territory ) would have given good prospects of a nice 500 points to continue building that total up ( in a sort of race from the US Open smile ).

Passed Rafa in the "race" with getting to the SF, but still over 2000 points behind Roger and over 3000 behind Novak. So odds extremely strong that he will finish the year at WR 3.

Damn, that's ruined Andy's good tiebreak record. And of course it means he has lost 320 points.

Better luck in Shanghai, Andy.

Very high quality match, but I think Andy thought he had it won when heading for a double break at 4-1 0-30 in the third. Was broken to 15 at 4-2 at a stage when he was winning his service games with ease. Raonic on this fast surface was just too good.
