YYYEEEESSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!! I didn't enjoy any of the last 2 sets ... too tense, and idiotic commentators putting the hex on Andy ... or maybe that was just me being superstitious :) Well, OH - MY - GOD ... HE'S DONE IT! what a weight has just lifted!!!

Hardly ever post here but visited regularly for years. AFTER ALL THESE YEARS OF FOLLOWING YES YES YES YES YES YES> I was just dreading it after the 4th set but, as the commentators noticed he had a very good upbeat sort of psychology at the start of the 5th and as he broke i thought "oh now please". I hoped hw wouldn't get broken but as he had been nearly breaking Novak for ages I suppose the pressure just broke through. 3 breaks was it in the final rounds?

 

JUST AWESOME.
