The odd thing is that, with the exception of his match against Raonic, Mr Murray hasn't really played particularly well (by his standards) throughout the tournament ... something he himself acknowledged in one of his interviews. So will he be able to "up" his game for the final? I really, really hope he will. One thing in his favour may be that the New York crowds historically really like him and are slightly ambivalent about Djokovic.
Did have to laugh when a radio commentator said something the other day along the lines of "we'll have to see if it's just another final or if he'll win." "Just another Grand Slam final," eh? We're so spoiled we don't even know it.
Will anyone who supports Mr Murray have any fingernails left at the end of this match? I suspect that they have each won GS matches in less time than it's taken them to complete the first set.

I told you all before about Andy's recent record when it goes 5 sets ( just really one recent blip, to some chap Djokivic in a Slam thingee ) and that I had more faith than even he seemed to have in his physical shape.
As to analysis of the match...........**** that !
He won, he won, he won.
Oh and by the way, I'm happy. I think he is quite happy too !
ANDY MURRAY. OLYMPIC AND US OPEN CHAMPION !!!

Muzz has never won a slam. We've never got more than 200 points on University Challenge 2 weeks in a row ... until tonight. I'm hoping that's a sign! LOL
OK, the words "clutching" and "straws" come to mind, but I do think Muzz has got the best chance he's ever had and that if he is 'on' tonight, he'll win, even if Nole plays his best too. That's a big IF though!
