Fully deserved by Andy, looked poised all week with very few nerves, just needs to get that frame of mind in a slam, and he will win a few.

I was so nervous at match point, hoping he wouldn't do a Tim and bottle is and go to five sets. So proud that he served out with and ace/unreturnable on the first attempt.

I don't know what they mean by a "miniature sheet" but I ordered one yesterday. Trouble is I don't think I can bear to put them on an envelope. . . certainly not to pay a bill! Desecration.

A strip (three across & two deep) of six first class stamps, hence the asking price of £3.60 per sheet.  I queued for about 20 minutes at the Post Office in Borough High Street SE1, about 15 minutes' walk from where I work (& the other side of the river, but the office about five minutes away is only a "business office", which doesn't deal with many tourists & doesn't, therefore, receive a particularly generous supply of the stamps, so they go quickly furious), & could hear other people in front of me doing exactly the same thing as I was.  It's effectively instant profit for the Royal Mail, as I, like you, have no intention of sticking one single one of them on an envelope (I bought seven other sheets...) & I'm pretty bloody sure the other people who were buying them had little or no intention of using them either.  At the same time, I can't really blame the Royal Mail for taking advantage of the situation & if it helps delay the next rise in postal rates, so much the better! wink

I ordered mine online from the Royal Mail site.

You're lucky! Murray's been sold out (or the stamps haven't been available at all) wherever I enquired!

I'll be going back for some of the more recent medals tomorrow or on Friday (& maybe on Monday as well, depending on whether "FlyMo" wins the 5,000m at the weekend) & would be happy to see whether I can get an "Andy" for you (I even got a "Wiggo" & a "Jess" yesterday! wink ).  Cost would be the £3.60 face value of the sheet + the current price of a first class stamp, so £4.20.  The Royal Mail charges a total of £1.45 P&P on orders of this kind (classed as standard & delivered in five days), which is what persuaded me to amble over London Bridge to try my luck in Borough High Street & which costs me nowt! wink  PM me if you're interested.
