Elena goes out, but a good performance. 4-6 (4)6-7
Hopefully we'll see her again at some point in singles somewhere. Can she get protected ranking - on a 6+ month lay off I think she at least qualifies to apply(?) - if she wants to carry on?
She is at least in doubles action in about 90+ minutes.

With her wins at Wimbledon last month and on Saturday she should be able to get a protected ranking inside the top 100, which makes a comeback a lot easier.
Laura is fourth up on Centre Court tomorrow. Last match of the day on centre, and follows the two Andy's: Murray (v Nieminen) and Roddick (v Djokovic) So should be a great atmosphere for her following all that.
Heather is second up on No. 1. After Tsonga v Raonic. Heather will probably overlap with Andy on centre a bit at least, unfortunately.
Laura being last on is good news for those of us who can get back from work in time to watch. I just hope her match isn't played in front of an empty centre court as a couple of the last matches on have been so far. I would hope the appeal of seeing Laura and Maria should ensure a reasonably full house.
I'm so proud of the two young uns. Would be amazing if Laura could cause an upset. Not sure what Kirilenko's grass pedegree is, best of luck to Hev though.
Kirilenko had a very good Wimby, going out in an epic match against Radwanska, so if in that form will be tough, but Hev is improving all the time so I'm hoping for a competitive match. If Laura gets as many games as she did against Sharapova the last time she played her I will be over the moon, Maria wasn't ready for her that day and practiced with her before the Olympics started. Laura has no doubt improved alot and won't be overawed we know that so 6/7 games is probably par.
