Phew! Andy did it, but watching anybody you support playing Karlovic at the start of a grass tournament, when the grass is slick, is pretty terrifying. I'm not sure I breathed at all during that final tiebreak!
Well he has such a rotten draw, there could be a problem even getting to the semi. However if he does, it must improve his chances of at least making the final.
Look this is pretty straight forward. If someone came to me a week ago and offered me this draw for Andy on the proviso that Rafa would go out I would have snapped their hand off. Yes he has some tough matches ahead but he will be favourite to win them and instead of having to beat two of Rafa/Fed/Djok he only has to beat one of them. That is irrefutably a good deal.

True, but I wouldn't count any chickens yet, as he's still got a few nasty players to go through. Rubbish draw this year, but maybe it'll harden him if he does get through.

I have watched far too many Andy Murray matches to take anything for granted.
Andy v Baghdatis is 3rd on Centre Court tomorrow, Saturday 30th June.
Follows on from Ferrer v Roddick which I could see being a long match so could be quite a late start for Andy.
And with Serena only having just finished the first match of the day on centre it could easily by about 8:00 before Andy gets on court. Lets hope that Roddick v Ferrer isn't too long.
