R1: (3) Liam Broady beat Karim Hossam (EGY) 6-4 7-5

R2: (1) Luke Saville (AUS) beat Luke Bambridge 6-0 6-4
R2: (3) Liam Broady v Julien Cagnina (BEL) 1st match court 17
R2: Kyle Edmund beat Maxime Tchoutakian (FRA) 7-6(5) 6-3

R3: Kyle Edmund v (2) Gianlouigi Quinzi (ITA)

Kyle beat Quinzi fairly comfortably in the Davis Cup, but that was on a hard court. Clay is Quinzi's best surface, as he showed in winning the recent Italian Grade A.

Cagnina comes in to the French in good form having won the Grade 1 warm-up in Belgium last week, but was thumped by Liam in the Eddie Herr.

All 3 doubles teams are in action 3rd or 4th on

Who have the BBC put a picture up of in their story about Broady and Edmund winning. I dont recognize him at all. If its Broady he seems to have put on some serious muscle!

Unfortunately that was as good as it got for our Luke as he was broken in game 9 so goes down 0-6 4-6

Shame that Quinzi and Edmund are meeting so early on. Feels more like a quarters or semis match than third round.
