Andy having taken the second-set tie-break by 7-3. wink  He's also just recovered the break ( *3-3 ), but is 0-30 on his own service!  disbelief

Losing the 1st serve a bit, getting a bit nervous on 2nd serve too, set point Ferrer.

Well, he got a set more than I expected. Best thing about being a pessimist, you are never disappointed.

Well, I am though: I'll have to work on my pessimism, it's not quite up to standard.

I empathise, so I'm going out to do some retail therapy to cheer myself up.

To cheer myself up a bit: I think the work with Lendl is still a work in progress. For years everybody and their granny has said Andy needs to be more aggressive and to have a better forehand to get to the very top. Well, he is playing more aggressively, and the forehand has improved massively - it's just that it is still inconsistent. I'm happy to give them a bit more time.

Get thee to the grass, Andy. A bit of rest and recuperation from all the niggles and then some grass practice.
