Andy's playing here, is effectively the top seed, as he's the highest ranked player in the event, & is struggling against Ernests Gulbis: he lost the first set by 6-7(?) & has just been broken to love in the third game of the second: *1-3.

I'd kinda care if Andy had lost 6 - 1 6 - 1 and I do care if the back problem is still noticeably bothering him.
OEM's opinion in today's Times:
Andy Murray, the British No 1, played in an exhibition at Guinot-Mary Cohr and although he went down in two tie-breaks to Ernests Gulbis, of Latvia, there was no reaction to the back injury that had handicapped his recent progress.
