So far one very easy win and one comprehensive defeat. I think that Laura's game could well be a tense 3 set battle though.

Yeah disappointing for Naomi, bookies gave her a decent outside shot which I was surprised about. Serve not firing today it would seem, courts have taken alot of rain so are playing on the slow side so not beneficial to Naomi.

Match before Laura's just reached the 2 hour 20 mark and wer're only halfway through the 2nd set !

Finally it finishes - two and a half hours for a 4 & 5 win - that's Rafa v Nole speed (with even less excitement!)

Umpire a bit random in sharing the score with us but *3 - 2 at the mo. (We seem to get the games OK, but points seems more difficult !!)
