Joshua Sapwell was forced to qualify here, something he accomplished in style. Joshua Page has to take on the Italian who ended Evan Hoyt's campaign yesterday, but saw his 11 match winning streak end in the final
R1 (L64)
Tom Hill (GBR) v Fred Simonsson (SWE)
Peter Ashley (GBR) v (13) Thai-Son Kwiatkowski (USA)
(SE) Christian Perinti (ITA) v Joshua Page (GBR)
Jonny O'Mara (GBR) v (10) Hassan Ndayishimiye (BDI)
(Q) Joshua Sapwell (GBR) v (WC) Giovanni Rizzuti (ITA)
Three results so far, including good wins for Peter and Jonny (I'm pretty sure that the match which was showing on court 4 was a subsequent match, but they hadn't updated the scores)

(3) Frederico Ferreira Silva (POR) v Peter Ashley (GBR) (Q) James Junior Storme (BEL) v Jonny O'Mara (GBR)
As expected Jonny won comfortably again to reach his maiden Grade 1 quarterfinal. His next opponent is a fast rising 1996, who has won a couple of Grade 2 events this year. Elias Ymer and his younger brother Mikael are two of Sweden's brightest hopes, and Elias beat the top ATP ranked junior (Filip Peliwo) in round 1. Their match will be streamed third on court 4 tomorrow (probably around midday)
Peter did well to make his match a tight one, but eventually lost
