The traditional Easter offering attracts Scott Clayton as top seed. With 14 out of 16 seeds, and with the 2 non-Brit seeds having modest records, it would be disappointing not to pick up both titles.

With the first 2 rounds completed, few surprises and just the Swedish 16th seed preventing a British clean sweep. He plays top seed Scott Clayton next, who has been untroubled so far. Match of the third round could be 11th seed Julian Cash, making his way up the ITF ranks after a strong year in the Tennis Europe under 16s, against 5th seed David Fox, who just squeaked past our top TE14 last year, Daniel Little - making his ITF debut.

We are already guaranteed at least a share of the doubles title.

Scott took care of the Swede to ensure a Brit winner. David edged the match of the round in 2 tiebreaks, but it was a pyrrhic victory, as he has given Scott a walkover into the semis
