The COSAT Circuit ramps up for the final 3 weeks, and Evan Hoyt has joined Luke and Tom. Sadly Tom had to retire against a strong opponent today, whilst Evan also lost in his first junior match of the year. There's a return for Georgina Sellyn, after an impressive spell in the first month.

Ah pity. After last week's decisive scoreline against Papa, I had rather expected Luke to reach the semis. Would have been his first grade 1 semi final ?
It would have been Luke's first Grade 1 semi, but the American's form this year (winning the title in Chlle and 4 consecutive straight sets wins here, including against a top 20 player) suggests that last week was a dip on his part. Certainly Martin Weston, who is with the boys commented that Papa was too strong. Also going well here is the frequently signposted Gianluigi Quinzi. Some of us saw him lose to Kyle in the Junior Davis Cup final. Since then he hasn't lost a match in singles or doubles, winning both titles in a couple of the South American tournaments, and he is duly in the semis here.
