Ah, I would have preferred Andy playing the night match, just to have had it before his 2 further ( I hope ! ) night matches, and to avoid the day if it's very hot.
Certainly a match vs Tsonga would have been a stronger night candidate ( in fact I think it would have been the night match ), though I still prefer him playing Nishikori.

Andy v Kei on in the middle of the night again, approx. 3.30am. Ah well, I have to go to a funeral tomorrow, so I would have had to watch it on VOD in any case.
Not so hot today, max temp 26C, so shouldn't be an issue. Warming up again at the weekend but then both semis and final played at night so again shouldn't be an issue.
Patchy opening set from Andy. Done well to save 5 bps (4 first serves) but serve was poor until late in the set. Some controlled aggression from Murray though most of the time Nishikori has been dictating the points. One absolutely inspired, between the legs, lob from Nishikori that set up a forehand winner.
Controlled, professional display from Andy so far. Few inspired shots but putting Nishikori under pressure with solid returning and shots pushing him around the court. Nishikori coming up with lots of super tennis though perhaps suffering from the amount of time he's spent on court in this event.
