Very strong from Georgina, with her third emphatic win. Her next opponent took out the top seed, but hasn't been especially impressive otherwise, so hopefully Georgina can progress further.
Although there aren't many hard courts in South America as far as I am aware, I see that they have moved the tournament in Ecuador (2 weeks time) from clay to hard. Perhaps that is to compensate for changing the Mexico Grade A from hard to clay.
