I was speaking of main draw cut! She needs six more withdrawals. Doubt that she'll get there as most people ahead of her are Priority 1s, but you never know...
How old is Curtis? i thought she was 18, so shouldnt be playing juniors. however, i do understand she wants to gain confidence so she can slowly but surely make her way up the womens rankings.
I'm sure that she realises playing Juniors now wouldn't do her too much good, but there's little she can do. Due to the AER rule, she is allowed just nine more women's events between now and the first week of May. So she'll have to take three or four months off from competitive tennis unless she plays a few Junior events.
I think that she'll also have to do Orange Bowl and the Australian Open.
Sadly she gets points from all the events she has played.
They shouldn't have the AER for girls aged 16 or 17 - makes no sense at all. If they are allowed to play 25 ITFs a year, they may as well as play a few women's ones.
Ideally the legs should be straight, with the feet 6 inches off the ground at the point of impact. Her legs are bent, and the feet look to be firmly planted on the ground.
