Naomi will get a high seeding at Traralgon!

Jade took a WC into the Coffee Bowl. Most probably that means that she will skip Traralgon.

Could this mean that she will skip the entire Oz season and play in South and Central America instead?

Expectations have clearly been adjusted.

I seem to remember that about a year ago her coach was saying that the 2006 Aus Open would be her last junior event, or something like that. Now she's grinding around South America buying junior ranking points (and boy are they expensive).

It is possible that he will play the Coffee Bowl and then head down under for Nottinghill and the AO Juniors.

Even though seeking easy points may not seem that glorious at this stage of her career, a good run may give Jade a lot of confidence.

Nope. She plays in Casablanca next. Starts on the 25th.

Sorry for not being able to log in to YIM these days. Busy with exams. Have to use MSN to ask other people from uni about things, and that's proving to be a distraction too.

No probs (at the moment).

Jade's plans post Coffee Bowl are pretty unclear...

She could :

a) Withdraw from her Australian Tour and play in South America.

b) Play in Australia.

c) She entered the 10K in Sunderland. She could have a wild card there.

Stoop is playing in Germany instead of in Britain.

I suppose it is a wise decision by Stoop to play overseas considering the success she had had in australia

Jade withdrew from Traralgon as she was expected to. She doesn't play in Venezuela, so I guess that she will play the other two tournaments in Australia unless she comes to Britain.

Jade will play the 10Ks in New Zealand after this:

List for the first one:

Looking at the priorities, she can get in with a bit of luck. Anna Smith is also going.

She's quite a long way down the alts though, do you think she'll make the qualies cut ?

Danielle Brown's in the main draw too. I think Anna Smith will do well here, rebound ace should suit her game, she takes the ball very early and hits it hard and flat off both sides.

Strong entry list for 10K

She'll easily make qualifying. The withdrawal deadline hasn't even passed yet, there'll be a crapload of withdrawals.
