And of course the forgotten ones are the juniors the least experienced players at the US open left to play a ridiculous number of singles/doubles matches by Sunday.
R2 (9) Liam Broady v Mate Delic (CRO) Kyle Edmund v Mitchell Krueger (USA) (13) Oliver Golding v Ben Wagland (USA) Connor Farren (USA) v (10) George Morgan
George definitely won (and even if he had since become injured, there's no way he'd be replaced in R2 by someone he'd beaten in R1) so it looks like a copy of the Dave Rice mistake in St Rémy yesterday - which still hasn't been corrected on the OoP there.

They've just completed the girls R2, and the early results for the boys are all in the top section. Vesely won easily and will play Liam in the quarters if they win their matches later today.
Scores will show on 'Printable Draw sheets' option on Usopen site. No other Brit scores as yet. Yes, girls matches were played first and there were some 'shocks' there.
Thanks for the printable draw sheet tip - people have been tweeting to ask me and I had only checked the main draw pages and the ITF site, to no avail!

Colette Lewis is tweeting scores of selected matches
If Kyle wins he will play Canadian qualifier Filip Peliwo, whilst Oli has another showdown with Bjorn Fratangelo if he wins (surely he can get more than a couple of games this time)
