Ensures we have a finalist. Vesely looks like being the one non-Brit (up a set and a break)

SF

(1) Jiri Vesely (CZE) or Alexios Halebian (USA) v Kyle Edmund
(13) Oli Golding v (10) George Morgan

So happy.
Our boys are living up to expectation.

Have George and Olly played in a competitive match before?

Re. 3 out of 4 semi-finalists - if it's happened before, it must be before records began, so I'm not going to bother checking! LOL

According to ITF, Oli and George haven't played each other at ITF level before, oddly enough.

Kyle (the youngest semi-finalist by some distance) has played 'big dog' once before, losing 7-6(7) 6-2 at Roehampton this year.

A quite brilliant day for the Brits - is GB now the junior equivalent of Spain? wink
