Girls: European Junior Championships, Switzerland - Grade B1 (Week 29)

British girls have been conspicuous by their absence from European Championship finals in any of the three categories (under 14/16/18) with only Hannah Collin/Helen Reesby reaching the under 14 doubles final since Jo Durie was a junior. With our top under 14s Freya Christie and Lana Rush being late withdrawals there doesn't seem to be any likelihood of prolonged British interest this year.

A very disappointing loss for Katy but Ceire at least prevents a complete rout

The two girls in the under 18s did better than expected, but neither were able to win.
