"Separated from Gael Monfils who hired Patrick Chamagne, Roger Rasheed announced that he would be Andy Murray's new coach. The Australian, who spent three years with the French, was also Lleyton Hewitt's coach in the 2000s."
Pretty pleased to hear this. I thought that it was worth giving it a year or so without a permanent coach and while things haven't exactly gone badly Andy has failed to take the next step so certainly time to try something else.
I don't think this would be a bad appointment, but with only one source reporting Rasheed saying this and another lone source quoting Monfils wishing them well together, AND earlier rumours of exactly the same thing happening a year ago and 6 months ago, I wouldn't take it too seriously unless/until an official announcement is made.
