RE: Boys: Wimbledon Juniors 2011

i did feel kyle would pay for not taking more of his bp chances. hopefully he can use the rain break to come out and turn it around.

Just thought i'd give my view of what i saw yesterday.

I manages to watch a lot of Boadys match, some of Kyle's a little of Evan but none of George and Ollies.

I was very impressed by Liam, should have won this in tow really but hit some bad errors in the breaker (one of which drew the comment "merry christmas" from Liam which i found amusing) and his opponent served very well. He seemed well in control of his game. Great serve and really uses his left handedness well. Seems to construct the point well but when theres a space he'll go for it. My one concern is that Liam looks to be what 5'9 or 5'10? To make it big in the mens game today you kind of need to be over 6 foot but Liam may yet show that to be a pile of crap. Or he may yet grow a few more inches.

I was very impressed by Edmund. Big serve and big forehand. Looks the part already.

Didn't watch much of Evan but later i found out he's welsh or lives in wales so i'll follow him closer next time.

Liam's got a tall sister.  He would be likely to grow.

Yeah he's from Llanelli way, I really hope we can have a top notch Welsh player, Josh Milton is decent. But he's not really going to go anywhere. So fingers crossed for Evan! smile
