Knows he's not going to beat Murray, so playing mixed where he has a realistic chance and has a great partner. Plus 2 sets of doubles not really going to tire him out much more.

Perhaps the second sentence, but no way surely the first, i.e. that he would effectively be carrying on in mixed doubles, because he considers he has no chance vs Andy. As seagull suggests, Grand Slam QFs don't come along every day for such as Lopez, and of course he has some chance.
Anyway, I see he's though to R3 now ( a 7 - 6 6 - 4 win ). And he and Petkovic are scheduled to play their R3 match against Bob Bryan and Liezel Huber on Court One tomorrow after the two women's quarter finals there ( Bob Bryan has a men's doubles to play earlier ).

Hey everyone, very quick message here as I'm leaving to go down to London in a few minutes to hopefully see Murray playing at Wimbledon for the 4th year running. If I get to see him on Wednesday it'll be my 5th time seeing him live, yet I've only seen him against Spaniards...
I'm in the queue right now, I got here at about 7:30, and while I've not got a queue card yet, a steward has told me they think there's about 300 so that's promising.
I was also told that there were more people queuing last night for tomorrow than there were for today!

That's no surprise. Good luck getting in!

'Good morning everybody. Yesterday after the match I went to take an MRI at a London hospital. During the match I thought I had something serious but as the match went through the pain got better and thankfully the tests don't show an injury. Today I will practice at 4.30 pm and I'll play tomorrow. Thanks all for the support.'

That's good. We don't want any excuses when Andy thrashes him on Friday.
PS: Did anyone else hear Henman during commentray when he said something like "Rafa isn't the type of player who would take an injury time our if he wasn't badly hurt". How out of touch can you be?
lucky you - enjoy this great schedule. My seat's not too bad either - on the sofa, TV ready and waiting just lacking a bit of atmosphere at present but Pimms, strawberries and cream could help.
