The Wimbledon warm-up tournament produced a rare British winner last year (James Marsalek). All our top boys are entered here, with Oliver Golding, George Morgan, Liam Broady and Kyle Edmund all direct entries. Six wildcards have been allocated to Luke Bambridge, Josh Ward-Hibbert, Jonathan Cornish, Toby Martin, Oliver Hudson and Evan Hoyt. The last 2 wildcards were determined yesterday and today in a play-off at the Boodles Exhibition event.
Qualifying takes place on Thursday (2 rounds) with the main draw starting on Sunday
The qualifying draw should be available on the link below later this evening
No results yet but from qualifying but we can speculate on the likely winners of the WC play-off. There appear to be 4 candidates based on the entry lists who might have been invited, but are not in qualifying: Sam Hutt, Peter Ashley, Andrew Bettles and Lloyd Glasspool
Andrew Bettles and Sam Hutt must have won the WC play-off, but there is no sign of Peter Ashley. Kyle draws the the short straw of number 1 seed Jiri Vesely
Results are on the ITF site, but not yet on the LTA. A fairly predictable set of results, though Oli only just won his match.

All the big three make it through to the last 16 comfortably. It seems everyone is scared of George - after a retirement his next opponent didn't even make it to court. Evan's first round result was reversed, meaning that he got his best career win over the world no. 19, but couldn't repeat it today, unless......

From the LTA
Leading the way in the boys' draw was third seed and last years Wimbledon junior semi-finalist Oli Golding who brushed aside the challenge of Chilean Benjamin Ugarte with a 6-1, 6-2 win.
The victory sets up a match against Belgian Kimmer Coppejans who defeated Britains Evan Hoyt 7-6, 6-4, and Golding is in acutely aware of the challenge ahead.
Ive never played against him before but the further you go in any competition the games tend to get harder, said the world junior No.5. I love playing on grass and my aim is definitely to put myself in a contention to win the tournament.
I felt I played really well today and didnt let Ugarte settle into the match at all. Once again my serve was strong and that can make such a big difference on grass.
The 17-year-old, who played in the first round of the AEGON Championships at The Queen's Club before reaching the second round of qualifying for the Wimbledon main draw last week, is in no doubt of the benefits of having tested himself against more senior players over the past fortnight.
Ive definitely learnt a lot from playing against more experienced players, he added. Ive really learnt about the importance of making sure that you win your service games.
In the juniors it is much easier to break your opponents' serve but against the men you need to really concentrate for every point. Ive brought that mindset into my game and I think its made a difference.
big, big result for liam! all three boys went to final set tie breaks, and the big two at the moment were the ones to come through

Very impressive from Liam and a guaranteed semifinalist in doubles as he and Filip Horansky play surprise package Sam Hutt and Josh Ward-Hibbert (who took out the sixth seeds 11-9 in the match tiebreak):
From the LTA
Golding, the world junior number five battled through his third round match against Kimmer Coppejans from Belgian, eventually winning 3-6, 6-4, 7-6.
Reflecting on the match, the 17-year-old said: That wasnt a great game for me, I definitely didnt play as well as in the previous round and it was not my best tennis. I struggled with the windy conditions, but somehow managed to come out with the win.
I have played a few quarter-final matches this year but I am hoping tomorrow will see me into my first semi-final of the year.
The third seed will face Croatian Mate Pavic in Wednesdays quarter-final after he beat Brazils Bruno SantAnna 6-4, 6-2.
Looking ahead to the match, Golding added: I have beaten Pavic once before at the beginning of the year so tomorrow should be a good match but as ever the games get harder and harder as I progress.
