How far do you think Murray should be winning this week? I'd be pretty pleased with a run to the semis!

The winner of Queens very rarely wins Wimbledon.

In the last 30 years the winner of Queens has gone on to win Wimbeldon on 8 occasions. Given that Federer doesn't play Queens that isn't a bad record.

Roddick has dealt with Anderson fairly quickly (6-4, 6-4) so Andy should be on court any moment now.

Haha, Nalbandion loses in straight sets including a bread stick in the second smile

Muzzah was broken in the first game of the match and Tipsy stayed ahead until 2-3* when Muzzah broke back for 3-3.
It's gone with serve since then with Andy now at 5-4* and Tipsy to serve to stay in the set.
Unfortunately the match is suspended because of rain ........

Play resumed a few minutes ago & Andy managed to take the first set by 6-4 - only to surrender his opening service game in the second! cry

But he eventually wraps up the match by taking the second-set tie-break by 7-3. smile  Cilic or Bellucci ( *gulp* ) in the QF...

Bit of a mixed bag again from Andy. Aside from the opening game of each set he served pretty well and 69% is a very high first serve percentage for him.

Overall probably as good as you can expect Andy to play at this stage of relatively small tournament.

I didn't see the match, but from Neil harman's tweet he didn't appear to move very well ( "often appeared to be treacle attached to his shoes" )

As long as he is still troubled to some extent by his ankle and the conditions remain a bit on the slippy side, I would have thought Andy is inevitably going to have doubts and not go all out for balls in this tournament.  Where he still would push whatever at a Grand Slam,  I feel he sometimes won't here.

I though he moved okay.

And it'll be Cilic, who's just beaten Bellucci by 7-6(3) 0-6 6-3.  Interesting second set from Cilic...

Cilic withdraws. A shame I can't watch Andy (I scheduled the whole day around his match!) but never mind, I'll take the semi points on his behalf with a smile.

Perfect for Andy really to rest that ankle

Exactly. Hope Cilic is fine but Andy needed something like this.

Anyone know if he is playing Boodles or whatever exho (Ratty looooves them!!) next week?

I would be surprised, he won't need more practice on grass surely.
