Boys: French Open Juniors 2011

Mixed fortunes for our three musketeers. Oli has a nice section starting with a qualifier, and should be looking to make the quarters, where he is seeded to meet the top junior Tiago Fernandes (ATP top 400). George has a rematch of the infamous Australian Open match, where he won 10-8 in the third after his equally tall opponent was docked points for medical attention to cramp. Kyle has a tough draw against a player who was ranked 2 at the start of the year, before concentrating on Futures events.

R1 (L64)

(9) George Morgan (GBR) v Mate Delic (CRO)

Kyle Edmund (GBR) v (14) Dominic Thiem (AUT)

(Q) Luis Patino (MEX) v (4) Oliver Golding (GBR)

True, though subsequent results suggest that was a one-off tournament on home soil.

George 3*-4

Oh yes, I'm sure that's true - still suggests it might not be easy though.
