Katy Dunne may have just sneaked into the main draw of this Grade 1 tournament. Jessica Ren is playing her second qualifying round match at the moment and trails 5-3 to an unranked local girl. David Hodgetts plays later against the useful Aussie Jack Schipanski

The second qualifying match was actually final qualifying so Jess has made it to the main draw. If she wins her round 1 match she will be up against the top seed and world number 1 An-Sophie Mestach. Some courts are covered by live scoring on the above link. David Hodgetts unfortunately retired from his final qualifier.
