If Andy can keep his mind on the job, there is indeed just one winner. Basically so much the better player.
But was horrible at 4 - 2 up in the second when Troika was talking to himself and really beginning to doubt, so Andy chose to show that he can beat anyone for getting down on himself.
But that was a good last few games, and he's on it for now. But, always with Andy, hmm...
An aside: I just happened to notice the merchandising on the French Open site. Why are all the hats at the French Open named after British towns - you have your choice of Preston, Torquay or Uxbridge. Never thought of Uxbridge as fashionable before!

So, sudden death tomorrow afternoon... My fear is that he won't be able to regain the momentum that was so clearly with him towards the end of that fourth set & will have trouble getting going again on that ankle!

His movement looked fine so hopefully the ankle is okay. It is a big pity though that they had to go off as I don't doubt he would have won if it had been finished tonight.
Nothing too much wrong with the ankle, and we know he's a great tennis player but dear oh dear what is wrong with the mindset. It's like watching a bad attack of the terrible twos.
Really good that Andy got the 2nd break for * 5 - 2 so he had a chance to get the 4th set wrapped up, because I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have played any more games than they did.
For all one says about his attitude at times and it was really bad as I indicated earlier at the end of the second set / beginning of third he must just about the best comeback to win record from 2 sets down records around. I'm sure they said he'd already managed it at all 4 Slams. Gasquet certainly the victim twice.
( edit : hmm, probably an Andrew Castle wrong fact again. In Grand Slams apart from Gasquet at Wimbledon 2008 and the French Open last year, I only see Melzer in the US Open 2008. Also, Ram in the Davis Cup 2006. With it once done to him by Nalbandian in Wimbledon 2005 when he couldn't last 5 sets ! Overall, as far as I can see, his 5 set record is : 10 wins, 5 losses but has won 7 of his last 8 )
Must be disappointing for Troiki, first this is a breeze, Andy's not fit, oh he is, then later break up in the third set.
But anyway one set match now, Andy favourite, but you wouldn't put your house on it !
