RE: Weeks 21-22 - Roland Garros men's main draw

I really am hoping for a good long rain delay, I never thought I'd hear myself say that.

I wonder how Troicki is recovering from the food poisoning - not cucumber I hope.

If Andy is OK, part of me thinks best to just get on with it rather than back up matches.

Then again late evening L!6 match in dodgy weather, hmm that was last year and he shall we say wasn't at his best against Berdych.

Monfils just served for the match at 5-3 in the fifth but contrived to lose his serve from 30-0.

But eventually took it by 8-6 after 4+ hours!  The women's singles match preceding Andy's now due on court...

Monfils actually had 2 MPs at 40 - 15 at  * 5 - 3 and another at Advantage 6 - 5 *  but he got there in the end.

Azarenka has won the first set 6-2 so Andy could be on court at around 17:30 (BST), 18:30 local time, which would give a reasonable prospect of the match been finished today.

Murray looks back in it. Even though he's just dropped SEt 1

Bizarre first set. Maybe he was a little bit worried about his ankle and it played on his mind until he had played a few games and convinced himself that it was okay.

The problem with watching a potentially injured Andy is that looking in pain is his default expression at the end of any point he loses, so it's hard to tell if the ankle is an issue or not.

I think the ankle is okay because his movement looks pretty good but it might have played on his mind in the first few games.

Andy has been abysmal since going 4-2 up in this set.

1-1 in the third, Andy looks pretty deflated.
